ABLV Bank was founded on 17 September 1993 on the basis of the Bank of Latvia regional branch in the city of Aizkraukle, thus the Bank was named "Aizkraukles Banka". In 1995 there were changes made to the bank's shareholding structure. The Bank was one of the first in Latvia to start development of different remote service channels, thus improving service level and ensuring rapid growth.
In 2002 ABLV trademark was created.
In 2008 the Bank adopted new startegy, emphasizing development of bespoke financial solutions for customers.
Currently, ABLV Bank is the largest independent private bank in Latvia, having representative offices in many CIS countries.
Required documents for opening corporate account:
- full set of corporate documents, notarized and affixed with apostille
- internal passport of acc holder and UBO
- international passport of acc holder and UBO
- certificate of registration and articles of association of resident company of acc holder/UBO
- if the company is older than 1 year the Certificate of Good Standing affixed with apostille should be provided
Kindly note that the Bank follows KYC policy and reserves the right to request additional documents and information from the client that may lead to account opening term exceeding, as well as refusing of account opening without explanation.
Time frame for opening the account:
7-10 w.d. since all documents and forms are received by the head office of the Bank in Riga.
